ORegon Made book
During my graduate school internship, I had the opportunity to work with Restore Oregon, a non-profit dedicated to advocating for historic preservation. My primary project was creating a book that highlighted the historic architecture of Portland and its surrounding areas.
I curated a collection of photographs from Restore Oregon’s library, as well as from museums and private collections, securing necessary permissions along the way. In addition to gathering images, I researched, wrote, and edited articles covering a wide range of topics, from architectural materials to the architects behind the designs. Using InDesign, I designed both the interior and cover of the book, and worked alongside Restore Oregon to facilitate the self-publishing process. The book was officially released in April 2022.
