This triangular 'Harry Potter' closet, located in the entrance hall of a Victorian home, had become a catch-all storage space due to its awkward shape and lack of proper flooring. I transformed it into a practical and stylish coat closet, adding cubby storage for keys and mail, a coat rack, hooks for dog leashes, shoe storage, and a vibrant yellow penny-tile floor to manage muddy shoes.
To enhance the space, I incorporated motion-activated lighting and bright, playful colors. The molding was carefully designed to mirror the existing woodwork in the hall, while I hand-painted a bespoke pattern on the walls that seamlessly wrapped in and out of the cubbies, adding a unique touch of personality to the small space.
